Why do we need software prototyping in Business Design?
In my last tip I talked about what prototyping in Business Design actually is. I also talked about some concrete examples to give you a better idea what we can do with it.
But let me zoom out for a moment. Why do we actually need that stuff? There are a ton of reasons. In my opinion, these are the most important ones:
To generate answers for mission-critical questions and uncertainties in our business models (learn more)
To be able to better communicate a potentially complex idea in a realistic form
To be able to get precise feedback on our idea (or parts of it)
To develop a deeper and common understanding of our idea within our team or organization
To make us and others believe that it can be done, spark motivation and make us dream (learn more)
There is a lot to unpack here. I will try to explore some of these goals in future tips.
